So, What Are You Waiting For?

Leverage social networking, user generated content and PR releases to drive qualified traffic. Showing your visitors you can really write unique, compelling content, your traffic will grow very fast. It’s easy to think that as long as your products are available for sale online, people will buy them. But, it’s something I think that not only people out there could learn from, but speaks to so many others in this industry to show them that they are not alone. There are things people want to buy in private. Whenever I want to buy something, always looking for a high reliability, high quality online shop, but I find that really hard to find a good seller. Choosing what college to go to, who you want to date, if you should marry them or not, should you buy a house or rent an apartment, and so on. I was originally hired to work under one of the VPs in Marketing who was very good at analysis, but not so much on the technical side of the website, and most certainly didn’t understand SEO. This one is all about you being a Good Samaritan. One of the most wonderful features of WordPress is that it can make your business successfully with its satisfying working procedure.

When a customer submits an inquiry, you must make it a habit to respond quickly. So, focus on speed and make the experience pleasant for mobile users. The focus should be on the best SEO consultants that can run a successful campaign. The site is/was broken up into sections by keyword focus. Perhaps the site was originally optimized several years before, and it just needs some cleanup now to bring it up to 2012’s optimization standards. Many long-time SEO’s are now looking at the big picture and working with usability analysts. If that were really the case a lot of us SEO’s would be out of a job. All in all both positions are very rewarding and a job in search engine optimization is not only challenging, but a lot of fun with a constant evolution in strategy and know how. At one point, I could tell that someone really had a good head on their shoulders for SEO, but the strategy that was used was outdated. To have a good and creative signature style of your brand gives a more professional look and expands the credibility of your business and brand.

So my rant for the evening is in response to a good friend of mine Rand Fishkin. Rand Fishkin goes on to talk about the social media side of his statement. Rand Fishkin’s post brought up a statement I have been often telling people especially as I am here attending the Media Post Email and Search Insider Summits that Social Media Marketing is today what SEO was several years ago. Ok that statement was a bit broad – so more detail: Understanding the basics of SEO is great. I am going to start off by stating that while I have known Rand for a short period of time he has been a great supporter and I still hold him in high regards. After months of the site losing traffic and still getting penalized there was a light at the end of the tunnel in recovered traffic just before I wrote and published the blog post.

However, there are many similar elements, but still the web design today is not the same as it was ten years ago. So, you must have noticed by using your sixth sense that designing your website with an aim of promoting it on search engines leads to a better design and also facilitates the SEO efforts that will come later. If this is done right it not only shortens the buying cycle, but also frees up our sales people by bringing them more qualified leads faster. Many people (and you probably have already been considered one of them) might click any top-ranked web site and then realize that that not as highly relevant to their particular world wide web search as that they had anticipated. The SEO Strategist will then draw up a keyword analysis looking through words and terms based on what the client thinks their users will be suing to find their website.
